This is our absolute last chance to send off the old Take Time space with style; this venue (and Stephanie Krystyna, you have our undying gratitude for your support) has been so good to us and allowed us to work with a total blank canvas as far as a venue goes. For the send off show we have assembled 4 groups that are currently in the middle of a cross country tour and holy fuck are they ever wavy. Genre tags for reference, tunes and bios below for your eyes and ears: R&B, slacker rock, electronica, folktronica, dream pop, indie rock.

Fresh out of the gate on his solo Canadian tour with Cedric Noel I'm feeling truly blessed to get the opportunity to see this live in lil ol' Guelph. This is the stuff of dreams. Lush and ethereal electronica backed by beautiful soaring vocals and absolutely top notch songwriting.

CEDRIC NOEL (Montreal)
Cedric's no stranger to Guelph having come through a couple times on duty as bass player for the (former) east coast band LAPS and solo for Kazoo! Fest 2017 and we're psyched to present his solo material once more alongside tourmate Isaac Vallentin. Delicate and beautifully constructed songs with 90's twee undertones, each song as honest and heartbreaking as the last.

IVORY WAVES (Winnipeg)
"Ivory Waves' relaxing but energetic dream-funk sounds as if D'Angelo was born in southern Winnipeg and spent far too much time on the internet. Brett Ticzon's soulful vocals float over Jason Aniceto's vicegrip-tight drumming and Jesse Scanlon's elastic bass grooves, while the chiming and charming guitar licks supplied by Brett and rythym guitarist Mitch Gulay interlock to round out their uniquely smooth sound. For fans of R. Kelly, Homeshake, and great times." You heard it here first. Skip on over to their bandcamp to stream the incredibly dreamy single After Slice from their upcoming eponymous record, out September 3rd.

LEV SNOWE (Winnipeg)
"Lev Snowe makes a synth-heavy brand of psychedelic dream pop that is equal parts danceable and washed out, simultaneously laid back and electric. Lush electronics bloom around the band's shimmering guitar and rhythmic grooves while Snowe's reverb-soaked voice drifts nostalgically in and out of focus." FFO Captured Tracks bands, Slowdive's Souvlaki, having a fun time with friends and loved ones.
