Place For Bands presents...

~ H. De Heutz ~
Bass/electronic/drum duo of Nathan Medema & Olivier Fairfield (FET.NET/Timber Timbre, etc.) based out of Hull, Quebec. Self-described as "[angular art punk] with a very left take on things politically." Focused and driven noise with a purpose and a message. With an upcoming 12" on the horizon, it's a privilege to present them here in Guelph. Check out their most recent 7" release below:

~ LAPS ~
Our Montreal pals are with us once more to support the release of their newest split with Quebec City's La Fete, and it sounds wonderful. Progressive pop/art rock in the sweetest form, deliberate and energetic. Welcome back, friends.

~ Margret ~
Fresh off the release of their latest LP "The Most Fun That Two People Can Have Together", the two-piece make their return to Guelph. "The Most Fun That Two People Can Have Together" is a gorgeous work of ambient, atmospheric and experimental guitar weaving together electronic centered folk music. There is a link to the record below, you'd be doing yourself a disservice not to listen.
